The CCGPP reports that "the cost of completion is estimated at $60,000....Core Products...is willing to additionally donate 12 free pillows to each DC who commits to the President’s Club level of giving ($1,000 per year, or $84 per month).  [and CCGPP] encourages every DC, especially the leaders in our profession, to become a member of the President’s Club. This project will impact any DC performing spinal manipulation, and will prove to be one of the most important projects completed by CCGPP."

CCGPP is "also in the process of developing our “Train the Trainers” program, and “CCGPP Evidence-Based Certification” program, in which we will partner with state associations in an effort to educate their doctors on each chapter produced by CCGPP, along with the acute and chronic care guidelines, the Definitions paper, documentation, and instruction on how to translate all this evidence into clinical practice in an effort to provide better care and a stronger practice."

Drug wholesaler & pharmacies License Suspended by DEA

Federal authorities have charged a major health care company and two CVS pharmacies in Florida with violating their licenses to sell powerful pain pills and other drugs.

The DEA suspended Cardinal Health's controlled substances licenses on Friday for the third time in five years. The Drug Enforcement Administration linked Cardinal Health to unusually high shipments of the controlled drugs to four pharmacies.  A federal judge temporarily halted the suspension the same day after Cardinal, a $1.3 billion company, said it would stop supplying the drugs to the four pharmacies.

The DEA alleges that Cardinal knew or should have known that the four retail pharmacies had purchased far more drugs than it needed to fulfill legitimate prescriptions.
