TCA Annual Convention Starts Today

The Texas Chiropractic Association's Annual Convention begins today.  The meeting held at the Sheraton Hotel Austin 701 East 11th Street. Austin, TX 78701. Exhibits opened today at noon and registration for convention at 12:30 pm.  

A pre-convention session of the TCA Board of Directors is scheduled to meet today from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.  Educational classes and other business meetings begin tomorrow, Friday, June 11, 2010.

U.S. government overpaid private insurance companies administering Medicare Advantage plans by as much as $3.1 billion in 2010, according to a new report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

About a quarter of all Medicare beneficiaries are enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) paid about $114 billion to the plans in 2010.
