In are report filed HERE in Ghana "the Ministry of Health has opted to support the integration of chiropractic training into medical schools across the country to promote what officials term a Wellness Revolution."

"Deputy sector minister, Robert Mettle-Nunoo, observed partnerships among healthcare providers in health delivery are critical to entrench the culture of wellness at home and the workplace for a healthier population. He says as part of a wider reform of all health sector legislation, the ministry [of health] will mainstream complementary health practices, including Chiropractic, in a draft Bill on Traditional and Alternative Medicine. A regenerative health and nutrition programme is also being factored into health education on lifestyle diseases, most of which are non-communicable. Mr. Mettle-Nunoo observed a correlation between undertaking preventive measures to healthcare, including regular stress, chiropractic and wellness assessments."

"The Deputy Health Minister disclosed this at the launch of the Kumasi branch of the Chiropractic and Wellness Centres. Chiropractic is a healthcare discipline and profession that emphasizes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially the spine, under the hypothesis that these disorders affect general health via the nervous system."

"The Chiropractic and Wellness Centres in Ghana are spearheading Wellness Programme targeting the home and workplace as places to start a revolution. Mr. Mettle-Nunoo stated 'in Ghana and indeed globally, people are increasingly being faced with the challenge of maintaining a healthy [balance] between the degree of wellness and disease status, while maintaining a good quality life at home and the workplace. The demands of modern business necessitate long working hours, short deadlines with fewer resources. This has resulted in an increase in obesity, unmanaged stress, and stress-related illnesses within the workplace'.  He believes the introduction of a ‘Wellness Culture” will not only increase productivity but make lives more personally enriching and rewarding."

"Chief Executive of Chiropractic and Wellness Centres, Dr. Marcus Manns said the organization has its roots deeply grounded in healthcare and is relentlessly focused on building a healthcare plan and lifestyle road map for members and their families. He said 'the development of Ghana is directly dependent on the health and longevity of its citizens. It is this health and longevity that gives Ghana its best chance for substantial growth. Until is challenge in truly solved, true growth and development is likely to remain no more than an unfulfilled wish'.  He wants President J.E.A Mills to prioritize a new life expectancy age of 65 years for the Ghanaian."
